Basically, my options are stick with a church that rapes children or become Jewish – and that’s a real toss-up – because I desperately need some group of people to tell me what to do, that much is obvious to all of us. The great experiment where I’m left to my own devices has produced nothing but another of modern society’s typical delusional failures.
I go to bed early just so I can wake up and swim at the same time as an old man who is still recovering from polio after all these decades and the water is his only chance at walking pain free. And there I am, like some malnourished whale having a stroke as I twitch and flail in front of the 5 feet deep marker.
