This is generic text I’m writing in advance. You know how I do. So, we won’t see Ronda in any of these because she gets special treatment and doesn’t have to do Dork Media, which includes the UFC itself, I guess. Maybe this isolationist strategy will pay off for her.
But is it worth it if it does? Has not history shown us that not engaging with one another, refusing to even talk with our neighbors just makes us all the more prone to hatred? What message is Ronda sending? Are little girls learning that it is now OK to not talk when they’re angry? Slamming the door to your bedroom feels good, ladies, but communication is key in life.
America didn’t talk to Cuba for years and look how that turned out: Castro is dead. Do YOU want to be dead, Ronda?
Yes, somehow I’m equating Rousey’s getting out of BS press duties to be some sorta geopolitical statement, one which negatively influences little girls everywhere, and which ends with Ronda as the despot ruler of an island nation. Enjoy the video!
