We start off with the fight that took McGregor from star to superstar. Yes, Mendes managed takedowns but the moment he had a chance, McGregor showed that his will to win simply cannot be broken. He wasn’t the Champion of Champions yet but he rose to the occasional like few ever have.
Speaking of of doing what no one sees coming: Holly Holm not only beat the juggernaut named Ronda Rousey, she made it seem like it was a cakewalk.
Poor Gomi. That’s all I can think. He met a modern fighter in Nate and was made to look stupid.
Eye was good but Tate was a level above.
Sit. Watch. Be in awe. One of the single greatest fights of all time. No hyperbole. Years later, it doesn’t get any better than this. Especially the first two minutes.
Come off surgery. Have thousands of your countrymen living through you. No problem for Conor. One of the best moments in UFC history.
