What Happened
Bibu got docked a point in the second after he punted Lausa in the cock like Charlie Brown finally getting one up on Lucy. Rogan thought this made the fight even because despite doing this for several decades, he apparently doesn’t know how scoring works. Speaking of Rogan, he and Cruz are completely redundant on shows. Even more better is that the audio is out of sync so you’re hearing things before you see them. Bibu just took this down easily throughout, controlled on top, hit some elbows, and that’s all. It wasn’t very exciting.

Katlyn Chookagian vs. Irene Aldana
Women’s Bantamweight
What Happened
Aldana is a TALL woman. 5’9″. Sheesh. Chook is the same. That’s barely shorter than me and I’m clearly all man. Rogan just corrected himself as he said Aldana beat Leslie Smith in her UFC debut when, in fact, she lost. He’s having a helluva night so far. Slow first round as they just traded isolated strikes. Second sees Aldana out and quickly in Chook’s face. Very aggressive and wants to push the pace it seems. It’s slowed though. It isn’t boring but it isn’t exactly a barn burner. A minute into the third round and I take that back: this is boring. Each girl just landed a right-handed the other ones head. But it did not do a lot of damage. Chook is more aggressive in this round but we’re not exactly talking prime Silva (Anderson or Wandy). Welp, I regret most of the last fifteen minutes of my life.

Josh Emmett vs. Desmond Green
Lightweight
What Happened
Huge dick kick which isn’t fair because Green has a bigger target. Emmett singing hard punches. That miss. Each man is good at wrestling and is canceling each other out. It is also making for boredom. Actually that’s not fair, I don’t know if that’s the reason. Could just be something in the air tonight. Phil Collins. Green with more range and it’s allowing him to pump is jab in there. That’s really all he’s doing but he’s still landing more. Green hurts Emmett in the third with an uppercut. He didn’t hurt him big but at least it was something. Yeah, this fight sucks.

What Happened
Jan beating the fuck out of Cummins on the feet. Landing whatever, whenever. Then Cummins used his wrestling and jumped Jan for like 13 minutes. Fuck. A. Duck.

What Happened
Burgos a waaaaaay better boxer. Rosa is moving and kicking ok but Burgos is slipping inside the pocket and slipping and ripping. And in the third, after tooling him throughout, Burgos rocked the fuck out of Rosa and finished him to death. Rosa was out on his feet. Fin!

What Happened
Usman just outworked a man here. He paced Strickland down all three rounds. He was non stop pressure. It wasn’t brutal but it was never ending.

What Happened
Cynthia was awesome here. Both girls scrambled well throughout but Cynthia continually adjusted and fell to new positions. Beautiful BJJ. Then a choke in the third round.

Chris Weidman vs Gegard Mousasi
Middleweight
What Happened
This was a MASSIVE fuck up. Weidman was completely fucking screwed over to a legendary degree. In the second round, Mousasi has Chris bent over and throwing knees to the head. Weidman had one hand down, but that’s no longer a grounded fighter. He tried to put another hand down. It was. But as Mousasi threw another knee, he lifted the hand up. Here’s where it was fucked: referee Dan Mirgliata stopped it, saying it was an illegal knee. He called in the doctors and shit. Then, a SUPER CLOSE look at a rep,at said the hand was up. So, Dan said it was legal and called the fight off. For who knows what reason. AND NY does NOT allow replay to be used by a ref. Yeah. Weidman lost because the referee didn’t know the rules.

Oh yes. This was something to behold.

What Happened
The EXACT same fight. Johnson came out in the first and looked ok. He randomly tried for TDs that didn’t work. In the second, Cormier gets one takedown, back take, pounding, rear choke. Deja vu.

Rumble then retired. I don’t know if any show has ever had so many retirements.
Cormier lamented that no one cheers him. He mocked Johnson for retiring, going full heel. He laughed at Manuwa and Jones.
